William Carey, a great missionary to India famously said to his good friend Andrew Fuller, “I will go down into the pit if you will hold the ropes.” Our Legacy Missions’ Partners are those who have committed to being team members with us. Kim and I have committed to going, and they are holding the ropes. We understand that where a person’s treasure is, that is where their heart is also (Matthew 6:21). Hudson Taylor who changed the face of China through his missions’ efforts said, “Depend on it. God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterward, and He much prefers doing so.” We believe that God has given us a mandate along with our churches and ministries to be bold and touch the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our partners have the same conviction and would rather see us on the mission field rather than constantly trying to raise support. We are grateful and appreciative of all of their prayerful support.
