DVIM Ministries
Destiny’s expanded logo was created to reflect our priorities as we seek God’s will. It consists of a victor’s wreath, reminding us of our victory through Christ. The star of David, reflected by the six “Ms,” reflects the six areas of ministry that we focus on (Missions, mentoring, mindsets, marriage, marketplace, and money) . The shield represents the basis of faith for all that we do. The circle is a reminder of the unity we are to walk in. The flame symbolizes the power of the Holy Spirit, who guides us into God’s plans and purposes.
Missions
Whether at home or abroad, our focus is first and foremost on the church’s mission found in Matthew 28:18-20: And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Mentoring
Pastor Lonny and the team at Destiny have been training leaders worldwide. We believe part of our mission is to help leaders fulfill their God given vision by coming alongside of them and providing encouragement, leadership, and resources. We want each minister and ministry to become self-sufficient in the Lord. ( 2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
Mindsets
At DVIM, we realize that after the new birth, the most important part of an individual or ministry’s growth is renewing the mind. It is the responsibility of every person to renew their minds to the word of God to become workmen who do not need to be ashamed. (Romans 12:1-2; Philippians 2:12)
Marriage
Successful ministry begins with successful marriages and families. Too often, we have a public persona and a private one. Integrity in ministry ensures that our private lives align with God’s word and our public lives. Pastors Lonny and Kim conduct marriage seminars, helping those in ministry develop fun and exciting family lives.
Marketplace
In addition to having successful families, we must be active and effective in our respective communities. We need the word of God to reign supreme in our churches, schools, communications, government, arts, entertainment, and businesses.
Money
God is not against money, and money is not evil. He desires for His people to be wealthy so that He might establish His covenant in the earth. Deuteronomy 8:17-18, Beware lest you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.’ You shall remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
