At Destiny, we understand that in biblical context, ministry encompasses the entire Church as the body of Christ serving in the world. Ministry encompasses all actions and duties performed by the Church in obedience to the commands of their Lord.

Kim and I are honored to serve the men and women who minister the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. Our goal is to empower each one as they endeavor to fulfill God’s call on their lives. We are committed to providing resources and mentorship to serve you to the best of our abilities.

Credentialing

Destiny is an organization that provides credentials for those seeking recognition and who have a proven track record of ministry or are in training by one of our credentialed ministers. We have three levels of credentialing: Associate, Licensed, and Ordained.

Associate Minister

An associate minister is one who is in training for full-time ministry. Each applicant is under the direct mentorship of a current credentialed DVIM minister. A thorough evaluation will be conducted annually for this credential type.

Licensed Minister

DVIM recognizes a Licensed Minister to have met all of the requirements for a licensed minister with all of the legal rights and privileges afforded by law. Licensed ministers are under the direct supervision of an ordained minister.

Ordained Minister

An Ordained Minister has achieved the highest recognition at DVIM as a credentialed minister. An ordained minister can work independently without direct supervision. Ordained ministers are valuable leaders within DVIM.

Certified Chaplain

A certified chaplain has met all of the qualifications as a licensed or ordained minister. They have undergone extensive additional training to receive training specific as a chaplain. These individuals may or may not be embedded chaplains.
